Vegkop Boerevereniging (Farmers Association) is an organisation comprising of farmers from the area around the historic Vegkop, in the Heilbron district of the Orange Free State. Diverse farming is conducted here, with an emphasis on cattle and game farming. Cultivation also plays an important role in certain areas.

The annual Grasren is the most well known and the largest public project of the farmer's association while drawing large numbers of visitors. Visitors have very positive comments on the Grasren. City folk are surprised that this day is not being promoted more prominently and they cannot stop talking about this wonderful opportunity to relax in nature and the varied entertainment throughout the day. The Vegkop Boerevereniging is primarily a farmers organisation that is part of the organised agricultural sector via Free State Agriculture.
